  REMARKS: The sleek styling of the Sea Ray 550 Sedan Bridge is further evidence (if any were needed) of the "Europeanization" of American motor yacht design. Fortunately, her beauty is more than skin deep and the 550 compares well in both comfort and build quality with her high-end competitors. There are differences, of course. Her flybridge, with its standard fiberglass hardtop, secure seating, and well-arranged helm, is superior in just about every respect to any of the imports. Belowdecks, the opulent three-stateroom interior of the 550 Sedan Bridge is arranged with curved salon seating aft, galley and dinette forward, and a spacious full-beam master stateroom amidships. Separate head and shower comparamts save the two guest cabins, and beautiful handcrafted cherrywood cabinetry is applied liberally throughout the interior. The swim platform, which is large enough to handle a small tender, can be fitted with an optional launching davit that stores out of sight in the transom.
