ACCOMMODATIONS and LAYOUT: Sleeps six persons, two in the aft (master) stateroom, two in the front Vee berth and two in the foldout sofa in the salon. The master stateroom (aft) has a private (electric) head, shower and queen-size bed. The large front Vee berth sleeps two with a unique head and shower door arrangement that can offer privacy to either the Vee berth or the salon guests. The Vee berth has thick carpeting on the walls and new cushions in 1994. It has four drawers, two under each side of the V- berth, two larger drawers and a fold open storage bin under a closet. These are to the right when entering the Vee berth. The (electric) head, shower and vanity are to the left when entering. Immediately before entering the Vee berth to the right is the pantry. To the left is the dinette with a custom fixed table and wraparound seating on two sides. Under the seats are four large storage drawers. Moving starboard aft slightly is the refrigerator, kitchen sink and three burner electric stove w/oven. The microwave is above the refrigerator w/freezer. Above the double stainless steel sink are glass and plate storage. The floor in the galley is parquet. The galley and V-berth are down. Up two steps is the 6'4" high salon. It is carpeted, has three chairs and a hide-a bed sofa. It has two large storage cabinets on either side, an ice maker, stereo receiver and TV. There are blinds on the large side windows, indirect lighting and a large wall mirror over the sofa. The carpeted aft stateroom is down two steps. The queen size bed is center with lots of cabinets, drawers and two closets. The windows have blinds and indirect lighting is used here also. The private head is on the port side. The 10 gal water heater is four years old with a four year old pump that provides excellent water pressure throughout the boat.
ELECTRICAL SYSTEM: Five year old, 2,000 hr. Phasor 10.5 KW diesel generator. The boat is wired for I 10 VAC, has a 12 VDC system though out the boat, two 8D210 batteries for the mains with parallel switch, a smaller battery for the generator and a four year old 30 amp charger. 60 Amps are available on the bridge. This feeds a 20 circuit, individually fused panel which allows the connection of new equipment without disrupting any of the other circuits. An indicator light comes on in the event of a blown fuse. There are two, 30 Amp plugs on the starboard side, amid ships, for shore power, with two, 50 foot shore power cables. (2) VHF-FM marine antennas (2, 9 Db/1, 6 Db), two cell antennas (1, 9 Db/ 1, 3 Db).
DECK AND HULL: Side railings (all reset and sealed 1998), aft-deck drapes (all new zippers 2001), Bimini top (all new zippers 2001), all fiberglass, Goode electric windlass, fenders and lines, 10 life jackets, navigation lights, swim platform, swim ladder, 18# & 30# Danforth anchors, aft deck has three chairs, cocktail table, radar arch, two deck boxes, aft deck hard top, aft deck carpet.
MECHANICAL EQUIPMENT AND ENGINE DETAILS: Cruiseair reverse cycle air conditioning, electric heaters in all rooms, hydraulic steering (rebuilt 2001), trim tabs (new 2001), two 460 CFM engine room blowers (new 2001), three automatic and manual bilge pumps, electric holding tank head, Engine Details fresh water cooling, 1.9:1 Twin Disc transmissions (starboard rebuilt 2000), two extra three bladed propellers (four bladed are active), engine alarm and emergency stop, engine fuel shutoff valve, Telcor engine synchronizer (inoperative), Racor filters, exhaust temperature gauges. The port engine was rebuilt in 1998. At 17 Kts the boat bums about 20 GPH
OTHER FEATURES: (Complete maintenance log is available on request - some highlights follow) The bottom gelcoat has been peeled and new bottom paint has been applied in 2001. Bottom has a two year warranty. Port engine rebuilt 7/97 - 2842 hrs New trim tabs 9/2K New main batteries and 30 amp charger 9/01 New salon AC compressor 7/01 Rebuilt steering hydraulic cylinder 7/01 The vessel has never suffered any hull damage. Hit underwater log in 1993 resulting in Both props having to be being straightened, one shaft being replaced and one strut being replaced. No other below waterline work has needed to be done after that. Vessel has been in fresh water for the past eleven years. Vessel was purchased in 1992, with about 1800 hours on each engine. Four trips have been made to Gulfport and one to Destin. The rest of the 1200 hours are in and around Tchfuncte River with the majority of those hours being at about 1200 RPM.
REMARKS: Excellent storage space. Top quality deck hardware. Vikings quality engineering and muscular construction have made her very popular. She has been well maintained and ready to cruise anywhere.
EXCLUSIONS: The marine radios will not be sold with the vessel. The name "Sea Buie" will remain with Mr. Buie. The wood box on the aft deck will not go with the vessel Tool box & tools will not go with the vessel. The "Wooden Boat Festival" picture will not go with the vessel. The vertical set of pictures next to the Wooden Boat picture will not go with the vessel Fishing equipment will not go with the vessel.
